The National Strategy for Financial Capability is led by the FSA and brings together financial service industry, consumer and voluntary organisations, government and media to find ways to improve the UK's financial capability.

The Financial Capability Resource Centre website is for all intermediaries working with consumers as well as a resource centre of free tools and resources for all groups across the strategy.

HM Treasury
Financial capability is a broad concept, encompassing people's knowledge and skills to understand their own financial circumstances, along with the motivation to take action. HM Treasury are producing an Action Plan on how to improve levels of financial capability in the UK.

Citizens Advice
The Financial Skills for Life project is a community-based programme, which has been piloting personal finance education projects to a number of audiences, from young adults just starting out to people in retirement.
