Learning Support Assistants, volunteers and older pupils who have received good quality training and ongoing support play a key role in helping pupils to develop basic skills in literacy and numeracy. By providing a writing frame and the examples of training offered in LEAs we hope to start to collate examples of training from across Wales.

We will, with your contributions, showcase good practice in training supporters which will be of use to all schools. Please use the writing frame and send in details of the training you provide to Rhian Hortin.
