Yale Lecturer Scoops Top UK Teaching Award
Liz Miles and Gill Britten

Basic Skills lecturer Gill Britten, who works at Yale College, has been named as the winner of the UK New Horizons Award, which celebrates exceptional part-time teaching in the further education sector. More than 200 nominations were received for the award, which aims to draw attention to the quality of part-time workers and to showcase excellence among a group that is routinely undervalued in further education.
